About the event

With the expansion of the sharing economy and proliferating access to goods and services replacing the need for ownership of physical possessions, consumers are living more mobile and flexible lives than ever. Accumulating possessions, starting a family and settling down, or working towards a secure retirement are increasingly no longer the norm for many. How consumers relate to and use the marketplace to facilitate their lives is thus shifting. How can brands adapt to this changing consumer landscape? Cutting-edge research from Prof Fleura Bardhi and Dr Aleksandrina Atanasova from the Bayes Business School, City St Georges, University of London, is shedding light on how brands can remain relevant in a rapidly shifting marketplace.

This will be an inspiring morning filled with the latest academic insights and practical case studies, with the opportunity to interact with peers from the industry and acknowledged professors from Bayes (formerly Cass) Business School.

The whole session will be about 2 hours, from 9:00 am-11.00 am (welcome & coffee from 8.30 am), having a short introduction to the session, the talk by Prof. Bardhi & Dr Atanasova, and the latest insights into case studies from Simon McDonald at DVJ Insights, with the opportunity to discuss and interact with each other built-in.
