Data & Insights Awards nominations for two exceptional colleagues
Gepubliceerd op 18 04 2024There are many days at DVJ when we achieve great accomplishments. Today is one of them bringing fantastic news to the table, specifically from our Lab team. Our two exceptionally talented colleagues have been nominated by the juries of the Dutch Data & Insights Network Association. Lisette Kruizinga-de Vries, Thought Leader Science & Analytics, was nominated for the Insights Professional of the Year – Agency Side and Mark Vroegrjk, Senior Specialist Data, Science & Analytics for the Data Professional of the Year.
For Lisette this is a well-deserved nomination – As Thought Leader in Science & Analytics, she connects science and practice at DVJ Insights, focusing not just on words but also on actions. Her experience proves invaluable, allowing her to easily make strategic decisions as well as delve into and develop methodologies, data, and papers herself. She embodies both thinking and doing, understanding and addressing. This is evident in her collaborations with universities both at home and abroad, where she plays a proactive role. Lisette shares new knowledge gained both internally and externally, for example, through joint projects with eager students and in articles, presentations, and training sessions, all aimed at advancing the field (sourced from the Data & Insights Awards Jury). “I am very happy and excited that I have been nominated! I’m looking forward to talking to the jury in person and explaining how my collaboration with the academic world benefits DVJ Insights, our clients, and academia as well,” shares Lisette with excitement.
Mark Vroegrijk has been nominated for Data Professional of the Year due to his innovative work as a market researcher. As an expert in this field, he has developed a tool for advertisers to optimize their media spending and enhance the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns. Mark’s work on this tool makes a significant contribution to the field of data science—it can help advertising companies save money and improve the effectiveness of their marketing campaigns. Working on a benchmark that helps to assess in-market breakthroughs of TV and radio advertising, based on recognition of an ad and the week-to-week GRPs behind it in combination with conducting various meta-analyses and writing articles about them – All this makes him an outstanding candidate for Data Professional of the Year (sourced from the Data & Insights Awards Jury). “Working together each day with clients and colleagues, so as to obtain increasingly rich and impactful insights from data, is a very rewarding thing. It is, therefore, a great honour for me to have been nominated as Data Professional of the Year, and to share my vision on how data analysis can add the most value with the jury,” shares Mark.
These nominations recognise outstanding achievements in the wonderful field of market research, and how they contribute to the development of this field.
